✿ character information
Name: Tighnari
Age: 26
Species: Valuka Shuna (fennec fox-human hybrid)
Canon: Genshin Impact
Canon point: Post patch 3.3
CRAU: Tighnari will be CRAUd from the game Edge of Reverie, where he has been kept in a prison, put on a team, and made to participate in various "games" presented by the Warden. These games pit teams against one another, some are innocuous, like love bingo, some are terrible and lethal, like an elevator game where teams voted to send others to safety, or plunging to their death. Tighnari has had his ups and downs here, and while he is an incredibly strong and steadfast individual, he carries scars, both physical and psychological, from what he has endured here. It hasn't changed him too much, however, as Tighnari bounces back quite easily, and he has made many friends and close companions that have helped him through more difficult times.
Abilities: Tighnari has a Dendro vision, which means he is able to manipulate the natural energy of plants. This can help him to do anything from growing plants more rapidly, healing flora, or creating vines and leaves as needed. He's able to fight with a bow by concentrating Dendro energy into his arrows. Magical capabilities aside, Tighnari also has superhuman hearing, as well as a sensitive sense of smell and taste, gifts from his Valuka Shuna heritage. He's quick as a whip and sharp as a knife, with a fast wit and incredible intelligence that saw him through to graduation from the esteemed Akademiya at a relatively young age. He's also a capable healer, with a vast knowledge of medicinal plants and fungi.
History: Wiki!
Personality: Tighnari is a direct, knowledgeable, and kind young man, and a forest watcher in the Avidya Forest, of Sumeru. At first glance he can seem a little abrasive, especially if those he's speaking with are vexing, in some way, but he is actually very kindhearted, and has natural caretaker instincts. He's a botanist with an interest in mycology, so he is highly intelligent, and has a very vested interest in plants and nature. Though Tighnari might be very stern when he feels the need to be, he's a very loyal friend and mentor, who cares deeply about the people around him, even when they might try him, though he can sometimes be a bit of a loner by nature. More than anything, he is a curious soul, always asking questions, unafraid to challenge authority, ever excited to test new theories and discover new species. Tighnari is your typical strict mom friend, and will tell you his opinions unabashedly while also preparing you hot soup. He's upfront, confident, inquisitive, adaptable, and makes friends easily.
Arrival item: Tighnari will arrive with Karkata, his automaton crab!
Age: 26

✿ life in fable
Game plans: Honestly, after his difficult times in Reverie, Tighnari will be happy to take a breather here, comfortably, especially with the knowledge that his full self is at home taking care of things in the Avidya Forest. He'll be busy making bonds with others, as well as focusing a great deal on growing plants and vegetables, trees and mushrooms, and writing down as much information about this place as he possibly can. It's not often you get to study new worlds, after all!
